The third Grasshopper for János Karancz, Grasshopper GTX is a 65.1-gram bi-metal yo-yo by Duncan with a 6061 body and stainless steel rims. It keeps the shape of the 2017 Grasshopper X but moves the steel from inner rings to the outer rims.
Duncan went through several prototypes after János asked for more stability in his slack, rejection, rail and hop combos, and he won 1A at 44Clash 2018 with it. Released in March 2019, it is 0.9 grams lighter than the original monometal Grasshopper.
