The first iteration of Toru Miyazaki's signature yo-yo, TORU0.9 is a 65-gram bi-metal by yoyorecreation, released in 2021 as a step towards the finished model.
The 6061 aluminum body carries stainless steel rims, at 55.5 mm in diameter and 45 mm wide: smaller in diameter and wider than most competition yo-yos of the time. The design continued with TORU0.99, which moved some of the rim weight toward the center, and was completed as BAE in December 2022, with the same dimensions and weight as TORU0.9.
