A wider follow-up to Shutter, Shutter Wide Angle is the 6061 aluminum YoYoFactory monometal Gentry Stein used to win the World YoYo Contest 2019.
YoYoFactory introduced it at the 2017 World YoYo Contest as an addition to the Shutter line rather than a replacement. It keeps Shutter's 56 mm diameter but is 3.6 mm wider, at 48 mm, giving it a wider catch zone, and weighs 64.3 grams. It ships unresponsive, with a Center Trac bearing and 19mm response pads.
Two years after its debut, Gentry won his second World title with it in Cleveland, five years after winning his first with the original Shutter. The line later added the bi-metal Shutter Elite.
