A polycarbonate remake of Peak, the first CLYW release from 2006, 66-gram Plastic Peak is a 2023 collaboration between Caribou Lodge and LUFTVERK.
Caribou Lodge took on the project after the success of Plastic Fulvia, the first LUFTVERK yo-yo made with the brand's "Injection Machined" process: the body is injection-molded as a plastic blank, then CNC-machined to its final profile.
Reproducing Peak's hub took up nearly the full profile of that blank, and the pad recess was re-machined to fit Caribou Lodge's Snow Tires instead of the 19mm pads used on Plastic Fulvia. The packaging is a throwback to the original Peak box.
