One of the two models that launched yoyorecreation's «Typeface» series in 2019, Futura is a 66-gram 6061 monometal named after the geometric typeface.
Its stepped, angular profile and curved cup take their cue from the font's straight lines and circles. It was released alongside Helvetica; Gotham and Optima followed in 2020.
