Accelerator by C3yoyodesign is a monometal yo-yo released at the end of 2014 as the first model in C3's «Essential Series». The 66.5-gram V-shape is machined from 6061 aluminum and measures 55.5 mm in diameter and 45.57 mm wide.
The Accelerator keeps the basic shape of Peter Pong's P.wave but rounds off the outer edges, moves slightly more weight to the rims and switches from 7075 to 6061. It is 0.93 mm smaller in diameter and 1.1 grams lighter than the P.wave. It later became one of the starting points for the Laevateinn.
