Signature hybrid yo-yo for Jensen Kimmitt
The signature yo-yo Jensen Kimmitt used to win 1A at the World YoYo Contest 2010, the original Northstar is a 69.5-gram hybrid by YoYoFactory.
It's a tweaked version of Protostar, built to Jensen's preferences: a polycarbonate body with aluminum weight rings, 2.5 to 3 grams heavier, with flatter side caps. Jensen played it at Worlds before its general release later in 2010. It ships unresponsive, with a Center Trac bearing and 19mm response pads.
In 2017, YoYoFactory remade it as the finger-spin Northstar, and in 2023 it reissued the original design.
