The signature bi-metal yo-yo for Betty Gallegos, Meerkat is a 65.3-gram YoYoFactory yo-yo with a 6061 aluminum body and stainless steel weight rings, released in 2019.
Betty has played for YoYoFactory since at least 2015, when the brand released a Space Cowgirl edition in her honor. In 2019, the year Meerkat came out, she became Mexico National 1A Champion and won the Women's Division at the World YoYo Contest in Cleveland, the contest Netflix followed her to for its series "We Are the Champions".
Meerkat has an inverted W-shape, measures 56.73 mm in diameter and 45.8 mm in width, and ships unresponsive, with a Center Trac bearing and 19mm response pads.
