Aufheben's first wide bi-metal yo-yo and part of the premium «Sync by Aufheben» line, 67.8-gram Dyad introduced the brand's double-ring construction: two stainless steel rings per half, one at the outer rim and a much smaller one inside the catch area.
Released after about two years of development, Dyad is a competition-oriented model with a C-size bearing seat. It ships with Smoke Pad Slim response pads by Aufheben and hkmt equipment, the pad line that debuted with Upcycle.
The same construction later appeared in Bufo, the signature bi-metal for Leonid Nemchik, which is about 2 mm wider and 2.1 grams heavier.
