Benchmark V 2016 is a V-shape monometal yo-yo by One Drop YoYos from the third «Benchmark» series, released in July 2016. Like the rest of the series, it adds an inner ridge near the response, which One Drop says reduces string friction, and a slightly lowered drop step.
It is machined from 6061 aluminum, 56.79 mm in diameter and 43.65 mm wide, and weighs 66.5 g with aluminum Energy Dome Side Effects. Compared with Benchmark V 2014, it is 1.79 mm larger in diameter and 1.2 g heavier.
