Benchmark O 2016
66.7-gram O-shape monometal yo-yo
Benchmark O 2016 is an O-shape (organic) monometal yo-yo by One Drop YoYos from the third «Benchmark» series, released in July 2016 with the same four shapes as 2014. One Drop refined the shapes instead of adding new ones. It slightly lowered the drop step and added an inner ridge near the response, which it says reduces string friction.
It is machined from 6061 aluminum, 56.79 mm in diameter and 43.67 mm wide, and weighs 66.7 g with the aluminum Energy Dome Side Effects introduced with this series. Compared with Benchmark O 2014, it is 1.79 mm larger in diameter, 0.62 mm wider and 1.4 g heavier.
