Akita is a bi-metal signature yo-yo for Mark Mangarin by Caribou Lodge (CLYW), first released in January 2019 as his first signature model. It has a 6061 aluminum body with stainless steel rings at the outer rim, weighs 64.7 grams and measures 55.1 mm in diameter.
At 48.16 mm wide, it is 4.3 mm wider than the bi-metal Wish, with thick rims that taper to a 40 mm catch zone. It is named after the Akita dog in its artwork, the first Caribou Lodge model named after a Japanese animal.
