YoYoFactory's first full-metal yo-yo, the 888, was the yo-yo Yuuki Spencer used to win the 2007 World Yo-Yo Contest. 888x is its 2010 version, the first YoYoFactory premium made in China: an undersized, rim-weighted butterfly shape with hubstacks, a slightly narrower gap and a lower price than the US-made 888.
It weighs 68.2 grams and measures 49.75 mm in diameter and 39.88 mm in width, with 19mm response pads. Hubstacks first appeared on the G5; see also the budget metal DV888.
