zero is an undersized monometal yo-yo by At Design Lab, machined from 6061 aluminum and released in February 2024 as the second model in the Tokyo brand's «Zero» series. The series uses rounded O-shape designs that look back to the Duncan Butterfly and to Anti-yo's Business. It measures 50 mm in diameter and 39.5 mm wide, weighs 60.8 grams, and uses a C-size bearing and CLYW-size Silky Pads.
It is 4.5 mm smaller and 2.7 g lighter than ZeRo, and shares its 39.5 mm width with the 57 mm ZERO. The name comes from the numeral 0: the brand meant the series as a baseline, like the zero mark on a ruler. It also comes in the "Silky Coating" edition.
Because of the surface treatment, fine scratches may show on the finish.
